Damn, I'm glad we finally got to learn about a connection between Hina and Kisaki, that was such a surprise, but learning Kisaki and Takemichi also had a connection before and learning what their first encounter looked like now makes sense why Kisaki called Takemichi "Crybaby Hero / Nakimushi Hero" at the end of the last episode of the first season.

I have a feeling breaking up with Hina was the wrong choice, if nothing had changed even after breaking up with her he shouldn't have continued the same event and sealed it. But I understand being concerned for her safety since she almost got caught up in that first encounter with Taiju.

Hina beating the crap out of Takemichi was unexpected lol, I didn't think she'd take it out on him in that way. I wonder how he'll go back in time since he can't just go up to her doorstep to meet Naoto anymore lol.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

I think Kisaki also likes Hana but that's just a guess on me and in the future with orders from Mikey he was taking things personal by targeting her.

Nan Demo K(Nai)ves • 1 year ago

Yeah, she seemed like the only person that looked at him properly so I wouldn't be surprise if he caught feelings for her. I'm sure they'll meet again soon and will reignite those feelings.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

Will see, and like you I didn't read the manga so I'm just waiting to see what happens.

Diamon Shade • 1 year ago

I read that shit after the cliffhanger from s1 till the end of the black dragon arc

Kirito • 1 year ago

I'm just hoping that takemichi would tell Hina the truth instead of waiting for that future

Over Seer • 1 year ago

Don't read unless you wanna know more about what you said Archie, and what will happen later on to Kisaki

You got it partially correct. Kisaki still loves Hina, and the reason she was targeted was because Takemichy was getting in the way of all his plans, and ofc he knows about his time travel ability that is why he wants to crush takemitchy to finally be with her, but ofc plan fails then he tried to run away until he got hit by truck-kun lol so later on he won't be showing up.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

Thx for that ^^
Also I knew about the death flag with Truck-kun since I was spoiled by it since S1 somewhere else and I don't mind spoilers in the slightest.

Poke Chan • 1 year ago

Truck-Kun is always not the villain, It can sometimes be a hero too

Diamon Shade • 1 year ago

Like bench kun

Rannen 19 • 1 year ago

I guess he got isekaid after that.

Arima Naoki • 1 year ago

Thx to tell me i guess then there is happy ending that's the only reason i was watching it for now i can be released

Gingas Swann • 1 year ago

he definitely does. Easy motivation for him to want Takemitchy out of the picture because she will love him after the breakup. Kisaki had to have told her dad.

Klaxxi • 1 year ago

Idk kisaki said that mitchy was his hero/the one he looks up to and he is the reason for all her deaths so far so he might make a move now when she is single to fck with mitchy but hina is probably not his end goal

Gingas Swann • 1 year ago

Why else would the episode set this up if she is not his true motive?

Klaxxi • 1 year ago

Well why would he kill her in the future all the time? If she is his true motive then he would have made her like him somehow, sure u can say that maybe he kills her since she still likes mitchy over him but then the scenes with kisaki calling mitchy his hero doesnt add up

Kirito • 1 year ago

It's probably because of that scene where takemichi saved Hina and got beat up maybe that cat is precious to kisaki

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

This episode is actually more than just connection between Hina and Kisaki.
More than just the reason why Kisaki is obsessed with Takemichi.

This episode is actually where everything begins.
The hint for that is hidden in this episode if you noticed it.
I honestly can't believe I didn't notice it when reading manga.
It has always been there, the one spot we all overlooked.
The key to this whole show.
The beginning of it all.
Right at where we least expected it.

I don't want to spoil too much, but you gotta figure it out @_@

Monke • 1 year ago

Exactly! I noticed it too.

Kiriya Sakuma • 1 year ago

IKR! I checked the manga, and apparently that hidden hint was not shown in the manga so, but I really liked it in the anime!

james widjaya • 1 year ago

THERE SOMEONE THERE !!!! AWLAYS HAS BEENN OMG THAT DETAIL XD

Thebosss101 • 1 year ago

11:09?

Taha Sadgali • 1 year ago

exactly!!!!

keki lmaoi • 1 year ago

was that supposed to be the dad at 11:09?

Taha Sadgali • 1 year ago

not really but you will get to know who is that guy afterwards like veeeeeeery late in the story that you will end up forgetting this comment so no worries XD , the fact that they made him appear there was surprising for those who read the manga

Mahra • 1 year ago

is he an older kisaki? cuz the head of the young kisaki peeking around the wall and that guy tilting his head in a similar manner is hinting at something to me

Taha Sadgali • 1 year ago

i wish i could reply but i have no idea how to hide the comment the way you did it lol sorry

Diamon Shade • 1 year ago

I haven't read far tbh just this arc

Dad Tachibana?

wolfycooki3s • 1 year ago

I had the same thought, like out of all the option he had he chose the worse one because he perfectly knows what the end result is...
I dunno what the author was thinking but he really doesn't want us to like the MC...

It's the right call. Hina's father was spot on about her getting mixed up in Takemitchy's gang shit. The thing here is that Takemitchy tried to break up with her in a way that she will hate him. Remember how in the future Hina was still stuck up on Takemitchy? That's why he wants her to hate him, so she can move on...

wolfycooki3s • 1 year ago

Yeah I got that part but he executed this plan so badly.

He is totally aware of how much Hina loves him even after the breakup or from the other alternative reality so trying to make her hate him is gonna be hard task.

What's more, his acting about not loving her anymore was really bad and Hina has shown that she's aware enough to know when Takemitchy is lying or hiding things... So surely, there was a better way to handle this matter but again the author made his information processing as low as his combat ability.

What else do you want him to do in that situation then? Hearing that the one you love was basically emotionally cheating on you and that they've moved on to someone else mid-relationship would make most people hate them. His acting was definitely bad but there's also the fact he didn't want to do this in the first place and he himself was hurting. Could it have been executed better? Sure, but the point was that this was a tough decision he was basically forced to make and he only has her best interest at heart here.

Diamon Shade • 1 year ago

That's why she started whooping him

Goblin-Slayer • 1 year ago

It’s honestly still the wrong call. Takemitchy couldn’t remember why he broke up with Hina, especially so close to Christmas…he then sat there and knew why he did it, meaning he chose the exact same decision that his past self did: breaking up with Hina to protect her. Meaning she’s still going to love him in the future regardless. Now here’s the catch: him breaking up with Hina is what kills her, as she’s fated to die so long as they break up. Why? Because Hina has ties to Kisaki. If anything, keeping Hina close so that she’ll always be under his eye would have been the smart decision, as her death occurs because she wasn’t.

This entire season Takemitchy hasn’t changed a single thing. Everything is still playing out the exact same. In all honesty, I wouldn’t be surprised if Takemitchy learns that Hakkai never actually killed Taiju but Kisaki did…and convinces Hakkai to become the new leader and take credit for it.

That's not necessarily true? In the past he could have broken up with her and been honest about why he did it hence why she still loved him. At least that's what Takemitchy would be thinking. In this scenario, his goal was not only to break up with her but also to make her hate him. Hence why he lied about why he's breaking up with her. And no, him breaking up with Hina is NOT why she dies at all. That actually has very little to do with the reason she's dying all the time. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'm just going to say this: whether or not Takemitchy breaks up with Hina here, she still would die in the future.

You are however correct that Takemitchy hasn't changed anything up to this point (or at the very least he's changed very very little), but this arc is where Takemitchy's character really starts to shine, so I'll just say be patient with it

Draiko Hunter • 1 year ago

I look forward to it!

Reisen • 1 year ago

sooo... takemitchy will get more mature this season? I thought the reaseon he cant is because he got beaten so much that it cause a damage to his brain. So the author made it so no matter what, he'll never get to be mature. That is the impression I got from him. Since almost all the char that have this kind of power learn from the first mistake pretty quickly, cos this power really fuked em up real bad mentally.

In spite of that, takemitchy doesnt get any character development. So that is the conclussion I got.

Takemitchy already went through some character development in season 1...what are you talking about? But anyways, yes Takemitchy does become more mature in this arc.

Diamon Shade • 1 year ago

He should be start training to train after this arc I believe

Deus The Great • 1 year ago

How is this the right call? Ofc breaking up with her is the right call but not in the situation where he literally REPEAT the same event at the EXACT same date and in the EXACT same place, and call this is for the best. lol this guy has a mind of 26 years old with 1 IQ. No way he repeated the same sh*t which would lead him to a bad end and called it's for the best lol.

You do realize that he can still change the future by stopping Hakkai from killing Taiju right? Rendering that future where she dies 12 years later completely meaningless. It's not 1 IQ at all.

Kei • 7 months ago

ok spot on? then why does she keep dying even after the breakup here? the answer is very obvious: she's targeted from every angle so breaking up here makes zero sense.

🔥SkyHigh🔥 • 7 months ago

Even if Takemitchy stayed together with her she would have died in the future anyways. There's a very specific reason she consistently dies 12 years into the future. Whether or not Takemitchy stays with her is inconsequential to that bad end. Him breaking up with her here means that she stays away from the current conflicts in Takemitchy's mind. Imagine she dies in the past during the current conflict. What could Takemitchy do about it? Absolutely nothing.

Kei • 7 months ago

ok then according to you he should just run away like he did in epi 1 or 2 huh.

🔥SkyHigh🔥 • 7 months ago

How does that make any sense?

Kei • 7 months ago

That's what you're implying, she doesn't die any day, its exactly the same date that she dies, not getting my point plus kisaki's hero is also takemichi here from this epi, if they hadn't met takemichi is the only solution for hina's future safety but that's all blocked because someone just jumped in like a superman trying to save her which made hina fall for him.

🔥SkyHigh🔥 • 7 months ago

So let me get this straight...you're blaming him for her dying because of something he did when he was a literal kid? That's ridiculous lmao. There's literally no way he could have known how the future would have turned out

Kei • 7 months ago

i'm not blamming him, his decision to break up even after knowing the future and knowing that kisaki already saw him in his childhood days and doing this break up makes zero sense.

🔥SkyHigh🔥 • 7 months ago

You're acting like he knows Kisaki is directly responsible for it. And no, it still would make sense even IF he knew because he dying 12 years in the future is still preferable to her dying in the past where he currently is, because if that happens there'd be no way to save her.
